The Fishing Trip
These areas are known to hold some of the best sport fishing available from mainland Fiji, which means you can experience sensational pelagic, sport and reef fishing as part of your family holiday.
The Coral Coast offers some of the most varied and action-packed sportfishing in the South Pacific. Anglers can target a variety of species including sailfish, wahoo, mahi mahi, spanish mackeral, dogtooth tuna, yellowfin tuna plus GT’s, red bass, coral trout, job fish and a variety of reef, inshore and lagoon fish allowing all on board plenty of rod time.
When located, packs of wahoo smash anything in the water and multiple hookups are common. Over the warmer months, seething schools of yellowfin tuna and mahi mahi tear up inshore waters, providing first-class action for anglers.
The Experience
Deriving it’s name from a large bank of coral that drops off into the Pacific Ocean, the picturesque Coral Coast has a variety of angling locations, including Vatulele and Beqa lagoons, which are some of mainland Fiji’s best sport fishing grounds. A variety of accommodation options are available, from resorts and hotels to private islands.

Your Lodging
Mango Bay Resort We can arrange lodging at the very cool & vibrant Mango Bay Resort, offering comfortable cabin accommodation and a range of options to keep you busy while you’re not fishing. Enjoy a range of activities during the day & evening entertainment with other guests. This includes guest DJ’s at the resorts nightclub, outdoor cinema nights, beach volleyball, watersports, games and tours hosted by the cool Fijian staff.
Your Vessel & Guide
Fishing Fiji aboard our 28 foot centre console, which offers an excellent fishing platform for up to 4 anglers. A hard top canopy shields anglers from the sun whilst jigging or taking a break from casting. This boat is the perfect platform for casting poppers around reef passages and surf breaks. Your expert skipper and crew will put you where the fish are!
Getting There
Fiji is a short 4 hour flight from Sydney, 3.5 hour flight from Brisbane and 3 hour flight from Auckland. Air Pacific, Pacific Blue and Qantas all offer daily flights to Nadi. Each morning, a taxi will pick you up you’re your accommodation and take you to the boat, taking from 10 minutes to 1 hour depending on where you stay.
