What’s the target?
Usually, upon arrival at our anglers lodge and over a few cold drinks the first topic of conversation often asked by our guide Andrea Traverso to anglers is what are their targeted fish species for this adventure? As Vanuatu being one of those unique destinations where you can fish and target a lot of fish variety on the same day. All in close proximity of our lodge, Trees and Fishes.
This week saw James, Luke Parkin and Rod Butler experience incredible fishing adrenalin with Ocean Blue guide Stephen Moderan. Some of the species were 40kg+ Sailfish, 30kg+ Yellowfin Tuna on topwater, Mahi Mahi, Wahoo, monster Coral Trout, Dogtooth on popper and GT on jig. All part of their targeted species for this trip. Off the water the boys were well looked after by Jeanine and her team at Trees and Fishes. Some well deserved “Kava Shell” tasting before diner was mushily appreciated by the boys to relax those aching bones after a day on the water.
I am sure a return trip fishing Vanuatu for the boys is on the cards! Lukem Yu!
