For some, escaping the daily grind means getting the adrenaline pumping. Paul White, Kevin Hartin and Daniel Simicevic chose a Vanuatu fishing adventure and change of scenery staying at Trees and Fishes private retreat as their escape. After exploring the retreat and it’s amazing ocean background overlooking the islands of Lelepa and Moso, the anglers were ready to begin their 4 days sportsfishing adventure. Although initially intimidated by this new experience/adventure, Paul, Kevin & Daniel took it one strike at a time and became comfortable in the open ocean enjoying some unbelievable fish encounters. Of course, they experienced the many fish species that inhabit our Vanuatu Ocean, landing stripped marlin, a nice blue marlin or what was left of it after the shark feast, yellowfin tuna, mahi mahi, red bass, 10kg skipjack and experiencing some dogtooth strike all near the lodge.
Congratulations to Paul White, Kevin Hartin and Daniel Simicevic on all your catches.

During their time in Vanuatu, these anglers developed a clear vision of all they could accomplish: spending time in good company/good friends and gaining a new appreciation for fishing through our local guides wealth of knowledge. But, perhaps most importantly, they learned that such an escape is a must do for all true adventurers looking for that memorable on & off the water experience.
