Ocean Blue Fishing’s Edge Water Sportfishers get a Fresh New Look!

Our sexy Edgewater sport fishing vessels just got better looking with a fresh wrap by the team at Fishwreck!

Fishwreck is known worldwide for its unique style, world-renown artists, personal service, quality materials and attention to detail on all of their boat wraps and apparel. They regularly deal with local and international clients to not just design and manufacture boat wraps but to install onsite outside Australia and have a great reputation.

A few months ago, we contacted Fishwreck to have our entire fleet wrapped by them.
The initial design was inspired by the game fish species that you can find while fishing in Vanuatu. However, we decided to keep the design clean and simple; to complement and not distract and to stay true to our iconic Ocean Blue Logo. Ocean Blue boss Anthony Pisano chose the “Insidious Camouflage” as the background, created by artist Nick Laferriere. “The subtle design yet striking blue colour works perfectly with our brand” says Anthony.
Fishwreck planned to stay in Port Vila to spend 5 days wrapping our 3x32ft and 1x17ft Edgewater boats, squeeze some time in for some fishing adventure before flying back to Australia. That means 4 boats within 5 days, more than 100 metres of wrap and 1 person in a tropical area during a wet season. We thought it would be really difficult for the team to finish 4 boats in 5 days so we made sure that everything the Fishwreck team needed will be provided.
What sounded like an impossible task, all 4 boats have been wrapped, thanks to Paul’s determination and Donny and Alex’s fast-learning skills. Together, all three of them completed the 3rd 32ft Edgewater boat in just approximately 4 hours.
And now the boat wrapping part is over, it’s time for the Fishwreck team to enjoy some fishing – it’s not a trip to Vanuatu when you’re not going to land a few fish. It was decided enjoy some micro jigging and it proved to be a great time for our guests, especially for 11-year old Layden who had landed his first 11kg Yellowfin Tuna – only proves that fishing knows no age limits. Bottom line, we are just glad that the Fishwreck team had an absolute great time with us, Ocean Blue and Trees and Fishes.
“It doesn’t take a genius to workout that we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Trees and Fishes and the experience with Ocean Blue. They are both extremely professional and are at the top of their game in both sports fishing and hospitality with a common goal of making your experience the best it can be.
We are very grateful for the opportunity of wrapping these fine boats in one of the world’s best fishing destinations for a company considered to be at the pinnacle of their industry.
Thank you Ocean Blue, we will be back!”
