What’s New With Accurate Series Reels<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Accurate Reels’ Gear Ratios<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Accurate reels come in a variety of different gear ratios<\/a> providing the exact speed you need. The smaller models, the ATD-4 and ATD-6, are going to be your fastest reels. They have gear ratios of 5.1:1 in high gear and 2.31:1 in low.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The largest models of the Accurate Series have gear ratios of 2.21:1 in high-gear and 1.01:1 in low.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Accurate Series Line Capacity<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Every feature of Accurate Series reels has been geared towards taming powerful fish. These reels are equipped to handle heavy-weighted braided lines and a lot of it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The ATD-6 can hold 450 yards of 50lb braid. That is Accurate’s smallest reel. From there, as you move up to the ATD-4, you’ll be able to accommodate 400 yards of 80lb braid.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The mid-size reels (the 30-30, 50-50, and 50) can hold 130lb braid. Each mid-size reel holds 500, 600, and 750 yards of line, respectively.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The drag ratios are amazing too. The lightest Accurate reels offer drag of 50 lbs or 22.7 kg. The mid-sized reels handle drag pressure of 60 and 70 lbs. or 27.2 and 31.8 kg.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The largest Accurate reels offer 100 lbs or 45.4 kg of drag pressure.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Accurate ATD Heat-Treated Gears<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Stainless steel is the go-to material for saltwater reels. Anglers prefer stainless steel’s resistance to the harsh elements of offshore fishing. Accurate takes this to the next level by heat treating the gears in their reels.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Stainless steel is durable to begin with. Accurate’s heat treatment gives these reels that extra bit of strength and durability.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Left and Right Side Wind<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The other key feature which sets the Accurate ATD series apart is the option of either left or right hand wind. This feature is not often available with big game reels. So those left handed game fishers will be well pleased with this available option.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
