As all anglers are aware, knowledge, preservation and sustainability are key to preserving our pristine fisheries. On the 25th to 26th of November, at the Newcastle Exhibition and Convention Centre is your chance to have your voice heard at the Fishers for fish habitat forum 2022. What is the Fishers for Habitat Forum?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The Fishers for fish habitat forum partnered with OZFISH<\/a>, hosted by Michael Guest from Reel Action Fishing TV<\/a> and Podcast<\/a>. The premise of the partnership is to encourage the angling community as a whole to “Take Action” and play a crucial role in practicing sustainability<\/a> and preserving the environment in which we fish. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

OZFISH<\/a> in partnership with Campbelltown City Council<\/a> collected eDNA samples from the the Georges River showed the presence of platypus and the endangered Macquarie Perch.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n
