Australia’s richest fishing competition has four months left until the end of season 8. The Million Dollar fish season 8 kicked off on October 1st with 100 barramundi tagged worth $10,000 AUD and 9 barramundi worth a whopping one million AUD. What is the Million Dollar Fish<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Sponsored by Sportsbet & Northern Territory<\/a> government, anglers from around Australia can try their hand at taking home a cheque for $10,000 AUD or if you are lucky enough, you could be the first angler to catch that elusive Barramundi worth one million dollars. It has been running since 2014 and this season over one million fish were released.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Million Dollar Fish Season 8 <\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Over the last seven seasons, $695,000 has been collected in prize money. Despite only two months since the season began, 14 lucky anglers have already collected $140,000 AUD, breaking all records.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

How to Enter<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Entry to the competition is free. Entrants need to be over the age of 18. Registering for the competition couldn’t be any easier, with a quick online registration form that can be found here<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
