34-Foot Walkaround Pangas
Fish with confidence and comfort aboard professionally built 34-foot walkaround pangas powered by twin screw engines crewed by an expert team of guides and skippers. A wide casting deck up the bow provides plenty of room for plug and fly casting. High siderails are placed strategically around the boats for safety and fishing comfort. The boats are highly maneuverable and can position anglers for the best possible shots at feeding sails whether you’re casting flies or big poppers. Daiwa Saltiga 4500 reels with matching casting rods for both plugging and bait casting will be available for use. Daiwa Certate hyper custom 3000 and 4000 reels will also be provided for smaller sails and other species. Sabiki rigs for catching bait, hooks, sinkers, poppers, stickbaits, minnows and other lures will be provided for your perusal.
River Skiffs
16-foot fiberglass skiffs powered by two-stroke outboard will be utilized for our Giant Snakehead safaris. The flat bottom hulls are perfect for traversing the vegetation rich waters we will be fishing in when chasing Giant Snakeheads. The low gunwales allow anglers to perform accurate skip casts, lob casts in and around structure for maximum effectiveness. The low gunwales also allow the guides to land the fish quickly and safely without causing damage to the fish. Two anglers to a boat with a guide will be the ideal setup for maximum casting and rigging space. Daiwa Certate 3000 spinning reels with matching rods along with Abu Garcia baitcasting outfits will be provided for your Giant Snakehead fishing. Timber and soft bodied frogs, buzzbaits, spinnerbaits and a range of soft plastics will be utilized throughout the trip.
