Jeanine is your host at Trees and Fishes Angler’s Retreat. Her genuine and exceptional customer service will make you feel like royalty. Nothing is ever to hard for Jeanine and her team who will do their outmost to look after your every need to create that unique experience only possible within this private setting.
Andrea Traverso
Born and raised in Vanuatu, Andrea Traverso’s bio speaks volumes for his passion for all styles of fishing. Andrea has pioneered the Vanuatu popping and jigging scene, successfully targeting dogtooth and GT’s, two of his favourite species. He has refined his techniques covering heavy tackle, saltwater fly, light tackle, live baiting, Andrea’s European background and cultural influences means he fluently speaks English, French, Italian and Bislama/Pidgin, very handy for adventures to remote islands and villages! He’s also made time along the way to fit in a degree in Marine Biology to further increase his knowledge of the ocean.
Eric Festa
Eric Festa has been working with OceanBlue since 1993 and has been instrumental in pioneering Vanuatu’s sportfishery. Eric has a passion for all things piscatorial, and has put anglers onto more blue marlin than any other captain in the South Pacific, with a number of world records to his name. Now days Eric has been using his switch bait techniques to raise big fish for topwater anglers. Whether it’s a GT, dogtooth, yellowfin, marlin or sailfish, targeting big fish on topwater is one of the most exciting ways to fish.
Rob Chang
Rob operates the Ocean Blue office in Singapore, dealing directly with our anglers enquiring from all over Asia. With his fluency in a number of languages, first-hand experience and extensive knowledge of all things sport fishing, Rob is able to help plan and organise every aspect of your dream trip. When he’s not arranging trips to Vanuatu, Rob acts as guide and translator on our sailfish adventures in Kuala Rompin, Malaysia.
