Getting There
Vanuatu is a short 3.5 hour flight from Sydney, 2.5 hour flight from Brisbane and 3 hour flight from Auckland. Air Vanuatu, Pacific Blue and Air New Zealand offer daily flights to Port Vila. Upon arrival into Port Vila airport you will be met by the Ocean Blue team & transferred to ‘Leaves & Fishes’ Anglers Lodge at Rana Beach.

The Location
‘Leaves & Fishes’ anglers retreat is nestled on the shores of Port Havannah, you will be literally on the doorstep of Vanuatu’s famous Marlin Highway, Nguna Volcano and Hat Island. For anglers chasing pelagics, big reef fish and billfish, this trip is perfect. The waters within 15 minutes from your Port Havannah base offer excellent game and sportfishing. Known for it’s marlin, the other species you will encounter include, sailfish, yellowfin tuna, mahi mahi and wahoo plus dogtooth tuna, coral trout, red bass and GT’s for the sports anglers. You also get to fish on the islands lee making the fishing as comfortable as it is exciting.
The Experience
On a typical day you’ll head out fishing early after breakfast and return back to your waterfront lodge late afternoon for that well earned massage service and cold beer waiting for you. Your group will experience ‘Leaves & Fishes’ cosy

Situated in picturesque Port Havannah, on the secluded north west coast of Efate, ‘Leaves & Fishes’ anglers retreat is a boutique waterfront lodge which only accommodates one group at any given time. Drawing on Balinese inspiration, guests stay in simple cabins, twin or triple share accommodation. Each has their own private outdoor en suite and balcony with stunning views. Step onto your vessel each day via the private jetty which extends out from the main dining area and social hub. Enjoy life on the tranquil shores of Port Havannah, with tropical island vistas wherever you look.

32 foot Edgewater Centre Console Sport Fisher
Fish on board the stunning 32ft EdgeWater centre console “Azzurra” a great fishing platform for up to 5 anglers. You will be hosted by renowned sport fishing guide, Andrea Traverso. Game trolling, jigging, light tackle, soft plastics, and casting big poppers are all effective means to target fish in these waters. Tackle can be supplied on a replace if lost basis. For anglers chasing dogtooth tuna on jigging tackle, and GT’s on poppers, gear is available on a replace if damaged basis or we can advise on the right tackle for anglers bringing their own.
