THE FISHING
So Many Species On Just One Trip
No where will you be able to target so many species in one location. Target pelagics including yellowfin tuna, big eye tuna, wahoo, mahi mahi, sailfish and marlin. Then there’s the elusive dogtooth tuna, giant trevally, red bass, coral trout and jobfish. The beauty of this adventure is you don’t have to go far to find fish. You get to target such a large variety of species within close proximity of our lodge.
THE BOATS
The Best Boats In Their Class
Fish aboard our U.S. built Edge Water 32 centre console sport fishers. These boats are big, fast and offer the perfect platform for casting and jigging. The Edge Waters space is unrivalled and cater for up to 5 anglers comfortably. Get to the fishing grounds fast, powered by twin 250hp Evinrude E-Tecs, maximising each fishing day. The unsinkable, sea going capability is unmatched offering you a soft comfortable ride. There are enough rod holders and storage for all your tackle, and ours, so no tripping over gear.
THE ACCOMMODATION
The Ultimate Anglers Lodge
Indulge both on and off the water while staying at our Trees and Fishes Anglers Retreat. Combine first-class blue water sport fishing with true island hospitality and superb dining. Upon arrival, you will be transferred in our private bus for the leisurely 40 minute drive to the lodge. Wake up to a gourmet breakfast prior to heading out on the water. After a big day, return to the lodge for a well earned ale waiting for you back at the bar. Then freshen up before sitting down to a superb 3 course dinner while discussing strategy for the next day.
GETTING TO VANUATU
So Close So Remote
Vanuatu is only a 3.5 hour flight from Australia’s east coast and Auckland New Zealand. Flights are operated by Virgin Australia and Air Vanuatu/Qantas. Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne and Auckland all have direct flights available to Port Vila. Connecting flights are available from all Australian capital cities. From the U.S., flights are available from Los Angeles via Fiji. Ask us to advise the best flight schedule to work with your tailored itinerary.

Day 1 : Arrive into Port Vila, Vanuatu
Upon arrival into Port Vila International airport you will be met by one of our Ocean Blue team members. After all luggage and tackle are loaded, enjoy the scenic 40 minute drive to Trees and Fishes Anglers Retreat. You will be met by your host who will brief you on the experience you’re just about to undertake. After the completion of formalities, sit back, take in the breath taking scenery while enjoying your favourite beverage. You will be served canapes prior to your gourmet sit down dinner. Raise your glass to the marvellous week ahead of you at this evening’s welcome reception. Please ensure your flight into Port Vila arrives before 16.00.

Day 2-5 : Fishing days, top water casting and jigging for pelagics
Main target species will include yellowfin tuna, mahi mahi, wahoo, sailfish, marlin, giant trevally and dogtooth tuna. Experience a variety of techniques including a mixture of casting, jigging and trolling. Our guides will assist you every step of the way no matter your level of experience. At days end we’ll have you back to Trees and Fishes for that well earned ale waiting for you at the bar. Then sit back, relax and enjoy your set gourmet dinner.

Day 6 : Morning at leisure prior to departure
Enjoy a cooked Breakfast, served from 7am. Enjoy your last morning at leisure swimming or snorkelling or relaxing in the cascading pool. You will be transferred late morning for the scenic drive back to Port Vila airport for your departure.

How much is the deposit I need to pay?
A 25% deposit is required to secure your spots. The remaining 75% balance is payable 60 days prior to your dates of travel/arrival.
When do I need to travel by?
You have up to 31st December 2022 to travel and redeem your reservation.
Is there a block out period?
There is NO block out period. Just book your spots on any of our future available scheduled dates.
How many anglers per trip?
There is is a maximum of 4 anglers on each hosted trip.
If there is only 1, 2 or 3 anglers can we still book?
The simple answer is YES. We fill each trip to make up a total of 4 anglers.
If I have a group of 4 anglers or multiple of 4 anglers can we have the boat(s) to ourselves?
YES. If you have your own group of 4, 8 or 12 anglers you can take up the offer and have exclusive use of our vessels. (4 anglers per boat). You are also able to choose any available date that suits your group.
What is included in the package?
The offer includes your airport/lodge bus transfers, twin share accommodation at our Trees and Fishes Anglers Lodge, breakfast, lunch on board and dinner daily and 4 days Blue Water Sport Fishing aboard one of our EdgeWater 32 Centre Console Sport Fishers.
Can I book multiple trips?
Yes you can. You are quite welcome to book multiple spots and use them on different trips as long as travel is completed before 31/12/2022.
Does the package include flights?
The offer does NOT include flights. Once you decide on dates, we can assist you in choosing the best flights to work with your chosen dates. There will undoubtedly be some very good flight deals that will become available.
