Experience an adventure targeting trophy fish on light tackle
Enjoy a week of all round tropical sport fishing, exploring a variety of spectacular locations. Experience casting for yellowfin tuna and mahi mahi around offshore FADs. Fish the many inshore islands for wahoo or sailfish. Cast for coral trout, bluefin trevally, red bass, green job fish and mangrove jack. Add dogtooth tuna and GT’s and there is plenty on offer when sports fishing Vanuatu with us.
From the moment you arrive, you will be met at the airport and transferred in our private bus for the leisurely drive to the secluded Trees and Fishes Angler’s Retreat. Our location is spectacular and unique in that anglers can cover such a variety of fishing grounds within close proximity of our base. On a typical day we will have you out fishing after a gourmet breakfast and back to the lodge late afternoon for that well earned ale waiting for you back at the bar. Then sit down to a superb meal while enjoying a few more beers or a bottle of wine while discussing strategy in anticipation for your next day.

A small boat built in a big way, our EdgeWater 170cc is a fully featured centre console that can take you anywhere. Our EdgeWater 170 give you more interior room which means more space for anglers, equipment and fish. Comfortable seating for all on board, loads of storage, a stable deep-V hull, and unsinkable construction make the 170 stand out in the sea. Top it off with a Yamaha four stroke for the ultimate in reliability, efficiency and performance for a great boat. The perfect boat for one or two anglers or couples looking to experience our superb fishery.
Top of the range light tackle popping and jigging gear is provided on this adventure. Our team of guides are renowned professionals experienced in the art of sport fishing and we’ll do all in their power to make sure the tide of catching fish turns in your favour.
Trees and Fishes Angler’s Retreat – A private piece of paradise
Trees and Fishes Anglers Retreat is a private and secluded waterfront lodge, offering a spectacular remote location right on the fishing grounds. Accommodation is beautifully appointed, air-conditioned, each with their own private ensuite. The social hub and laid back dining area is situated right on the waters edge, with your EdgeWater 32 stationed only a few steps away at the end of your private jetty. After each days fishing, wind down with a relaxing massage or enjoy a few well earned drinks with friends while you watch the sun setting over the turquoise waters of the Coral Sea.
