Although most charters in the Seychelles offer fishing gear it is always best to check with your guide on what is offered and the quality of their gear.

Silhouette is a great island to catch sailfish throughout the year, but if you’re looking for tuna, marlin, bonitos, and sharks, Bird and Denis Islands are your best bet.

You do not require a fishing license, but you will have to comply with the local regulations that control conservation in certain areas. There are national marine parks where fishing is restricted. Respecting the fishing culture here is highly recommended.
