Invincible Boats are Making Waves With Their All-New 46′ Pilothouse

Invincible has been building serious offshore sport fishing boats since Alex Lipworth founded the company in 2006. Acquired by EagleTree Capital in 2019, Invincible’s fleet has grown to ten centre console boat models—four monohulls and six catamarans.

Less than two years after introducing its 46′ centre console catamaran, Invincible has a surprising new version. The first-ever production pilothouse power cat—the new and improved 46′ Invincible Catamaran which is available now.

Let’s take a look at Invincible’s newest design.

Invincible 46′ Pilothouse

Since the beginning, Invincible has gobbled up market share by building center consoles designed for serious anglers. The company makes two types of fishing boats, monohull centre consoles and centre console power catamarans. All Invincible boat models rely on innovative hull designs to provide superior speed, ride quality, and stability.

All Invincible monohulls use the innovative stepped vee ventilated tunnel (SVVT) designed by world-renowned naval architect Michael Peters. Consequently, every monohulled Invincible boat offers fast performance, excellent stability, and outstanding fuel efficiency.

In 2017, Invincible tapped the design skills of acclaimed sailing catamaran designers Morelli and Melvin for their first power cat, the 40′ Invincible Catamaran. The hybrid, semi-asymmetrical multi-hull design they got was revolutionary. It allows Invincible’s catamaran boats to handle well at high speeds and lean inward during a turn.

Like other Invincible catamarans, the new Pilothouse 46′ cat uses this patented hull design to create a stable fishing platform that straddles the waves, giving you a soft ride while keeping you dry. It offers the same range, performance, and 360-degree fishability as Invincible Boat’s original centre console 46′ cat.

With Invincible Boats, Sometimes More is More

Another telling trait of Invincible Boats are their polish and shine. Invincible builds saltwater fishing platforms with yacht quality finishes. This new 46′ Invincible Catamaran is no exception, but this one offers a bit more.

The Pilothouse is unlike anything seen before on a fishing catamaran. It offers sleeping space and comfort that rivals a comparably sized monohulled sportfisher.

The pilothouse seats up to eight people in fully air-conditioned comfort. Configure it with four helm chairs (with Shoxs pedestals and flip-up bolsters) and a small U-shaped bench. Or opt for two helm chairs and a large U-shaped bench, with or without a table.

This power cat offers two sleeping berths—one forward and one created by converting the U-shaped bench. There’s a portside mini-galley (sink and microwave) in the pilothouse and a full stand-up head forward of the helm.

Inside-Look

The helm itself can tick all your boxes with dual touch screen displays, JL audio, joystick controls, VesselView, and autopilot. Choose between Garmin or Simrad electronics.

On deck, you’ll find the same top-of-the-line fixtures that make Invincible boats outstanding fishing platforms that are also comfortable. That includes six insulated fish boxes (three port/three starboard), three live wells in the cockpit, and tuna tubes.

The mezzanine bench conceals a cooler and tackle/prep area. Forward seating includes generous lounge seating with armrests and cup holders, sitting atop dual coffin boxes. You can have your Invincible boat dotted with stainless steel rod holders and add a dive door too.

Ready to Upgrade Your Sport Fishing Boat to an Invincible?

As you might expect, the new 46′ Pilothouse requires a substantial investment. Although prices aren’t published, it’s expected to cost a little more than the ’46 centre console version, running in the $1.5–$2 million range.

Orders are already coming in, and production has begun at Invincible’s Opa-Locka, Florida facility. The first of this new and improved 46′ Invincible Catamaran line is expected to hit the water in the spring of 2022.
